Style Study: Pearls

While Lindsay and Justin loved the original Lilywillow "Pearls" design in garnet and seafoam, the sample colors just weren't quite right - so we got to work!

To begin, we custom matched the "ocean blue" color in their wedding invitation suite to the very unique color of the bridesmaid dresses. They also wanted to incorporate a custom folder, an over-sized horizontal folder with a fold-in pocket to hold the reception card, response card and response card envelope. The folder was sealed with a folder wrap-band printed in the ocean blue and silver ink. The "pearl" strands were prepared to exactly match up when the folder was closed and when opened, the interior of the folder was printed in a paler shade of the ocean with coordinating kiwi and white pearls running behind the attached invitation and inserted cards.

From start to finish the theme, the colors, and the details were carried throughout.  Coordinating suite components include: Save-the-Dates, Invitations, Response Cards, Response Card Envelopes, Reception Cards, Primary Folders, Folder Wrap Bands, Brunch Invitations, Welcome Bag Tags, Wedding Programs, Personalized Place Cards (with guest names printed in the coordinating typeface), Table Number Cards, Menus, and 3 Versions of the Thank You Card.

Inks: Ocean Blue, Kiwi Green, Metallic Silver

Paper: Upgraded to 130 lb. Soft Matte White - Extra Heavy for everything with the exception of the Programs and One Thank You Note which were printed on a Shiny Metallic White Cover.

Envelopes: All of the envelopes, from the save-the-dates thru to the thank you notes were upgraded to a metallic silver with the response address printed in the deep ocean blue ink.

Enclosure: A custom, over-sized horizontal folder was designed with the matching pearl motif, closed with a matching folder wrap-band.
