Happy Save the Date Week: Day Five! A wonderful first while collaborating on this project...LP+P worked with clients in South Africa! With the wedding scheduled "state-side" in September, we prepared save the date post cards for Wessel & Susie through early morning or late evening calls and emails. Reminiscent of their New Hampshire venue we included an Aspen (in this case Birch) Grove and a single leaf. Digitally printed on our 100% recycled natural white cover in dark Olive and Chartreuse inks, we tried several font options before deciding on the romantic "Jane Austen." LP+P LURV! Happy Save the Date Week: Day Three (and Four)!

First project to share...rustic save the date postcards prepared with Ms. Raegan of Papel New York in Brooklyn. Nicole and Evan's "camp" wedding weekend is highlighted on our natural white cover in French Blue and Tomato inks, with a pale Sky Blue woodgrain pattern on the address side. Paired with a decorative "lodge-like" typestyle...we can smell the marshmallows from here!

Our second project today...a custom photo save the date prepared with the lovelies at Mac & Murphy in Charleston, South Carolina.

Nora and Walter had a very clear vision of what they wanted to do...providing this sweet engagement photo, we reversed out their names, location, and date in white on the photo side in a handwritten typestyle. On the info side, with a mix of Coral Pink, Colonial Blue, and Garden Green inks, we shared all the important details.

Congrats to Nicole & Evan and Nora & Walter!

Happy Save the Date Week: Day Two! Another adorable project prepared with the lovely ladies of The Dandelion Patch in Reston, Virginia...Based off our Sealed Monogram Collection. Brittany and Kevin's save the date post card, features a little sailboat and crab detail - appropriate and perfect for their Annapolis, Maryland nuptials this May. We digitally printed in Royal Blue and Sunflower inks on our bright white cover. LP+P's favorite part...the little crab peeking out from underneath where the post card stamp would go. So cute! Congrats to Brittany & Kevin and we're super excited to start your invitation suite this week!

Happy Save the Date Week! We're going to share recent (and awesome) save the date options with you all week long. Today's design, a play off our Icon Collection includes a modern cherry blossom branch specifically requested by the bride and groom. Prepared with the adorable ladies of The Dandelion Patch in Reston, Virginia, we digitally printed Kristi & Ryan's traditional A2 (4.25" x 5.5") save the date in Chocolate and Tea Rose Inks on our soft white cover. To highten the romance we added an envelope liner in a pale, pale blush pink. Lurv! Congrats to Kristi & Ryan and we can't wait to get started on your invitations!

Check out the latest in the Custom Design Studio! Madison & Frederick are getting married next summer at the Tuckahoe Plantation in Richmond, Virginia. We're working together to design an invitation package unique to the venue (the boyhood home of Thomas Jefferson), incorporating their gorgeous peacock blue and deep sandy brown, and with an overall feeling of natural elegance and sophistication.

Happy Friday! Wanted to share another fun, non-wedding project we worked on recently - this time with the lovely ladies of Wordshop Denver. Two project requirements straight from the client's mouth - an alligator was a must have and have some fun with the text/type (different sizes, colors, etc.). We digitally printed Baby G's Shower Invitation on our Natural White Cover in dark Lime Green and Navy inks. Our very favorite part and an AWESOME idea for a baby shower: Asking guests to bring their favorite children's book to help build the little bundle's first library. LP+P LURV!

Ask Eaton - When Should I Send My Save-the-Dates

The best time to send your save-the-date cards or post cards is 6-12 months prior to your wedding date. This is especially important if you're planning a destination wedding. The more time you give your guests to plan and save for an out-of-state or out-of-country event, the better. They'll thank you for it! The basic information that should be included on your save the date is the who, when, and where - who is getting married, when the event will be, and where the wedding will take place. Other helpful information for guests includes your wedding website address if you have one, travel + accommodation information (especially if hotel reservations MUST be placed by a certain date), and any additional event information (a welcome party, brunch, tour, or other event). LURVing these. Working with the lovely ladies of Mac & Murphy in Charleston, SC we prepared "vintage luggage tag" inspired business cards for Mr. Shon Barnett. Printing on both sides, the first includes contact information for Shon while staying in his South Carolina location. The second side includes the contact information for his life in Canada. Digitally printed in a deep Royal Blue and Tomato Red on our Natural White Cover we used different typestyles on each side for some variety and even grommeted (in matching red) the little tag circles like a real luggage tag. Enjoy!

Nature Trifold - Blue Branches

Prepared with Ms. Raegan of Papel New York in Brooklyn, Erica and Justin's invitation tri-fold was offset printed in royal blue ink on our Natural White 100% Cotton Cover. Featuring bold design elements - an oak tree, a silhouette of E+J's pup, tree branches, grasses, and wildflowers - there is plenty of room for all the particulars without the need for printing numerous cards.
