Hudson's mom Sara (Lilywillow's Director of Sales) wanted to create a custom 1st birthday party invitation that could self-mail, share the good news about the little guy's big day, and inform guests the party wouldn't just be about baby toys and cake.
Playing with the type, inspired by some wonderful block print type forms we found in Estes Park, CO, we went for a fun and funky approach. Including both "bottles" - baby and wine - helped get the message across this was a grown-up party too and the "Let's Toast the Man" line payed homage to Hudson's nickname...Hudson Man.
With the detail flap sealed shut with two small seals, the invitation self-mails as a postcard - saving on extra envelopes and postage. Happy 1st Hudson!
